A small stoneware wall plaque featuring the words of Jesus from Matthew 6:26:

“Look at the birds of the air…”

Made from white stoneware clay, the words are imprinted into a softly textured background and finished in a striking dark blue.

The plaque measures approximately 11cm square and has been handmade by me in my Nottinghamshire studio.

Consider how the Wildflowers Grow – Handmade Stoneware Vase

Inspired by the gentle words of Jesus in Luke 12:27, "Consider how the wild flowers grow...", this handcrafted stoneware vase is a quiet invitation to pause, notice the beauty of creation and remember God's faithful care.

Each vase is individually wheel thrown in my Nottinghamshire studio before being carefully decorated with raised bands and colourful hand-painted lettering that wraps around the form. The soft blue and cream glaze complements both fresh garden flowers and simple seasonal foliage, making this little vase a delightful addition to a windowsill, shelf or table.

Standing 4 inches (10 cm) high, it is perfectly sized for a small posy of wildflowers, herbs or a single bloom. Every piece is individually handmade, so no two are ever exactly alike, giving each vase its own unique character.

Handmade Ceramic Bicycle Bowl

A little ceramic celebration of cycling and the great outdoors.

Handmade in the Dove Ceramics studio, this small decorative bowl is painted all around with colourful bicycles making their way through changing weather and countryside. You'll find cyclists riding beneath sunshine and clouds, through rain and along winding green paths, with little details and colours appearing as you turn the piece.

The decoration continues inside the bowl, with a simple blue and yellow scalloped pattern around the rim.

At approximately 9cm high and 10cm wide, it is small enough to sit happily on a shelf, windowsill, desk or bedside table. It could be used as a small bud vase, decorative bowl or trinket dish, or simply enjoyed as a piece of colourful handmade ceramic art.

It would make an unusual little gift for a cyclist or cycling enthusiast, but you certainly don't need to be a cyclist to enjoy its cheerful, whimsical character.
